In and around the grounds of Haughton Holiday Park, look out for some amazing wildlife, in our mature trees you will see red squirrels running around, listen out for the Woodpeckers and look closely you will see them along with other amazing small birds such as Robbins, Thrushes, take a walk to the pond to see the Heron’s sitting or a walk along the River Don to see the Salmon jumping or even try your hand at either Trout or Salmon fishing, fishing permits can be bought on site.
